centro de artes is school project which asked us to elaborate the corporative image for the Centro de Artes de Caldas da Rainha, a group of museums dedicated to mainly portuguese sculpture in the twentieth century. i created the main logotype being inspired with the act of sculpting, where we usually begin with some solid shape like a rock and then slowly we start building some form. the final form of the logo is very heavy, just like the sculptures in this museum. another characteristic its the versatility; being such a bold shape it can be used with any kind of color, image inside or without typography.
